Introduction:
This instructor led training will provide your equipment technicians with the knowledge they need to operate and perform maintenance on the ADVANTAGE PLUS™ Pass-Thru Automated Endoscope Reprocessors.
Course Goal:
This course provides the student with an in depth understanding of how to operate the ADVANTAGE PLUS™ Pass-Thru Automated Endoscope Reprocessors and perform troubleshooting and adjustments. The student will learn the theory of operation and functional descriptions for major components and how to access technical information and use the STERIS website to get technical assistance, or place service requests.
Course Outcomes:
At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- verify proper installation of the ADVANTAGE PLUS™ Pass-Thru Automated Endoscope Reprocessor.
- verify all utilities that are needed to operate the system.
- operate system in normal and service modes.
- locate the preventive maintenance schedule and learn how to use it to perform preventive maintenance.
- perform troubleshooting and adjustments.
- put into a safe state.
- clean the equipment.
- access the STERIS service websites for assistance.
